Transient voltage suppressors (TVS diodes) protect electronic circuits from voltage spikes, ESD, and surges on power and signal lines. Unidirectional and bidirectional types from P6KE, 1.5KE, SMAJ, SMBJ, and SMCJ families. Filter by working voltage Vrwm, clamping voltage Vc, peak pulse current Ipp, and power rating 400 W-5 kW. Packages: DO-15, DO-201, SMA, SMB, SMC. Used at power supply inputs, on USB and Ethernet lines, in automotive and industrial electronics, and to protect MCUs from ESD.
